Our Scarab Carved Onyx Cabochons are hand-cut, carved, and polished from Black Onyx.
A common symbol found throughout ancient Egypt, the Scarab was believed to represent the restoration of life, rebirth, and renewal. As the scarab rolled dung across the ground, as did the Sun God roll the sun across the sky. In modern times, it is often associated with good luck.
