Purple Mojave Turquoise Cabochons

Mojave Turquoise is created through a process that uses a hydraulic press to assemble turquoise nuggets by introducing a bronze metal matrix throughout the brick of base turquoise. Once the turquoise is pressed or assembled it is stabilized to harden the stone. The turquoise in these cabochons has been dyed, but is still considered genuine turquoise by industry standards. 

I really adore the lively purple against the bronze. It is a perfect contrast! 

These Purple Mojave Turquoise are sold as randomly selected single pieces. They range from approximately 5/8''-1 1/9'' tall, 1/2''- 3/4'' wide and 1/8'' thick.
