Septarian is the result of ancient eruptions, that burned and bound organic matter. Once cooled it cracked under the immense pressure of our Earth. It is a mix of numerous minerals and materials, giving it a unique chemistry and appearance.
Our Septarian Cabochons are sold as randomly selected single pieces. They range from approximately 1 1/2" - 2 1/2" long and 1" - 1 1/2" wide. They are flat backed with slightly convex tops.
